Accompanying in Hope

Saturday 20th September, Edinburgh Workshop 11 – 3.30
Sacred Heart Church, Lauriston
“Let us all walk together…” Pope Leo XIV
Pope Leo XIV, like Pope Francis before him, is calling us to be more and more a pilgrim people, accompanying one another and accompanying others in the world. ‘What does this mean for us, individually’ and ‘What does this mean for us as a parish?’ We’ll be exploring these questions when we gather for our Scottish Jesuit Parish workshop on Saturday 20th September. Everyone is invited to attend.
We will gather with Sacred Heart Church in Lauriston, the Edinburgh Jesuit Church. During this jubilee year, the workshop will help us reflect on our roles as pilgrims of hope in our own settings. It will also challenge us to consider how our parishes are pilgrims of hope to others – walking with them, listening and dialoguing with them, and accompanying them in the midst of their lives. We will explore how we can develop practical ways to live and share our faith as a parish community. What are we called to actually do? Please phone the parish office or email staloysius.garnethill@rcag.org.uk if you would like to attend
