We have invested in a new Digital Collection Plate from a company called Dona Donations (donadonations.com).  The word “Dona” comes from Latin, meaning “gifts”.  It is an easy to use self-service device that collections donations via contactless or Chip and PIN.  All major payment methods are accepted.  Dona has provided a safe and effective way for people to contribute to parish finances during a difficult time.  We wanted to offer an alternative way for our parishioners and visitors to give or provide a more hygienic option to receive donations given the COVID-19 pandemic as this has brought challenging times upon all of us.

Users can submit a Gift Aid declaration on the machine, which helps us to maximise your donations. If you do use the Gift Aid declaration for your payment, the next time you make a payment you can click “yes” for Gift Aid and there is no need to complete the declaration again, it will automatically be added to your card payment.

The device is situated at the back of the church in the middle of the porch (at the double doors from the inside of the church).

We are very grateful to all of you for your donations and regular collections, this is much appreciated and helps to contribute to the upkeep of our beautiful church.

 Kind Regards,

Alison Fletcher
